Barb Nerdy is Support Your Local Ghetto and a freestyle DJ with an extensive and impressive history. With DJ HELL and the DISKO B Family (booker) at ULTRASCHALL, Munich was the place to be, while she also stopped playing gigs in Berlin: TRESOR, E-WERK, GALLERIE BERLIN TOKYO and forever the inglorious WMF club. Making her way from the very first house and garage parties of the Bavarian metropolis to techno in the years to come, she broke the stylistic chains in the mid 90s. Ever since, she has created and worked with a wonderful potpourri of hip hop, jungle, electro, footwork, bass and much more. After she discovered and started playing at the hidden location of the Panke in Wedding, with good intuition, Barb Nerdy keeps her experiments afloat and can often be found playing her DJ sets in the spheres of the nerds and troglodytes.
